Happy Thanksgiving, yo.

For a family of Mexicans to whom Thanksgiving means nothing more than turkey and a lot of mashed potatoes, we sure are taking things ridiculously seriously this year. Not our fault, though. Cousin from Mexico City's in town and she's really excited about eating turkey 'cause it's something that just doesn't happen in Mexico City (or anywhere else but Tijuana, for that matter). I guess she hasn't had turkey on Thanksgiving since she moved to Mexico City 'bout fifteen or so years ago.

For the record, this is the most tightly-wound Thanksgiving I've ever had. I dun wanna do this again...ever.

Also: "Niñas Mal" is one of the best movies ever (and I haven't been able to stop fawning over the lead actress). Gotta love contemporary Mexican cinema.
